For Whom the Void Calls (adventure thread)

While traveling the world, you have received a telepathic call for help from Keliphron, a sentient bag of holding who asks you to liberate him from a dragon’s hoard. Investigating the call, you discover Starglass Waypoint, a glass-and-stone facility built into the side of a canyon and populated with strange metallic creatures.

You have recovered a pair of rectangular ceramic cards bearing a star pattern laid out in sparkling sapphire gems. The cards interact with advanced magics in some of the Waypoint’s doors, unlocking them in response to the card’s presence.

Behind one of the doors locked by the star-glyph you found a storage room full of crates - and more of the metallic inhabitants of the Waypoint. They seem to be able to communicate through Common Sign Language, and exhibit an urge toward self-preservation.

On the upper level of the secure storage, one of the creatures has activated a flashing red light on a bizarre console. As you confront the being to learn more, a shimmering column of light, roughly 5’ in diameter, materializes in the center of the room…

A bag of holding spoke into our minds, and landed us in this place. Filled with strange eight pointed stars yet so unlike anyplace She would inhabit. Most of the band is missing yet the roadies are here with nameroc and me? I don’t think I can eyeroll hard enough in writing. The smells and the hairballs are enough to drive one mad, but even worse, they are more liable to kill something than try using their words. Though I’m not sure the cow has words to spare nor may we be ahead for him trying. Fortunately the horse one, or was he saying horse is his name (what even??) could communicate with the walking metal lip boxes. Honestly, I’ve seen weirder things than a psychic bag kidnapped by a dragon to a crystal palace full of big lipped walking boxes. The weird part is kaliphron the bag thought we’d be the best chance it has
