How much is too much?

I’m working through organizing and tagging my digital library of RPG books - source books, rules systems, adventures, character pregens, etc.
A lot of these came from Humble Bundles, but there’s a lot from DMs Guild and Drive-Thru [sic] RPG,

All together, after running some sophisticated de-duplication, I’m just short of 1400 titles. Admittedly, some of those are single-page character sheets, but still!

Is that too much? Not enough?

I think 1400 might be a benchmark

ok but look, after some of the organization and tagging I’ve been doing, I might get it down around 1350 (for a minute)

In non-game books, my digital library has - literally - thousands of titles

I’ve been slowly, methodically working my way through marking them all up with useful metadata, de-duplicating the collection, and ensuring they’re available in multiple formats (epub, mobi, pdf)

Calibre is a massive helper in that regard

I think you can never have too many rpg books

Need to agree here. RPG books (source books, anthologies, full campaigns) are like dice. You can never have “too much”

Update: I’m officially over 1400 now (but they might not all be added to the library yet)
